I had berber carpet in my townhouse and I HATED IT!!! It would pull and I would have big lines of carpet missing. It looked horrible. We recently bought a new house and there is carpet(don't know what kind) in all of the bedrooms and and my living room. I HATE IT! I'm just not a carpet person. I've been trying to talk my husband into going with a dark cherry laminate in at least out living room. Where ever you have a lot of traffic on carpet...it is always duller than the rest of the carpet. Our house is only 3 years old and there are already spots. I'm always having to call the steam clean company to come and clean it. I do that at least once a month. I HATE spots on carpets. I think it is so nasty. If you go to a flooring store...there are lots and lots and lots of laminates that you could chose from...all different prices..if money is an issue. Hope you make the right choice. |
