Yorkiekist. I raised this question too, last night but for some reason it disappeared. If you read his FAQ section there is nothing said about screenings etc. Only thing said is how to pay and when you need to make arrangements for pick up or shipping or be charged a $25 a day fee. I also asked to see pictures of the parents which I believe someone else asked as well, but was told he is unable to get pictures from Korea. I'm sure like I am you are aware that this is the big thing now. Brokers buying pups from out of country. It's cheaper. And, the only reason they are not sold at 6 weeks or 8 weeks is because they cannot be shipped legally until a certain age, although I do believe that too can be fudged. If you ask those that sell from out of country why they do it etc. the answer they all have is "My family has a beautiful farm there and they raise blah blah blah." These dogs are crammed into containers and driven sometimes hours or days before they reach the destination to be shipped. They are then put on a long plane trip (Think of how long a trip from Russia to the USA or Korea to the USA). After they are cleaned up and put out to sale. Some are getting big bucks - others are selling mixed pups for $800 - if they are able to sell that cheap then you know how much they pay for the pup from overseas and why they buy from other countries. And, if you think our puppymills are bad think how they are in a country where there are barely laws to protect people let alone animals. Elaine
