in the house, gated in the living room as opposed to being in a small gated area, with our Maltese Madison. We left them for 6 hours. All the way home from shopping I said to my husband that I was sure the place would be a mess, pee and poop all over. Well to my surprise there was nothing. He pooped on the pad and held his pee till we got home. I did notice that he chewed very little on the corner of my coffee table,which is now covered with a tablecloth. But all in all he was wonderful. I plan on leaving him the same way tomorrow. You go Nico, you are the man.
