You already got great tips on the coat care, yes food is the #1 thing. You can also try to do a conditioning regimen to get back the shine. As per the ear cleaning, there is a lot of products out there, i personally use 2 produts, after the bath i use the ear cleaner to removed excess wax, do not worry if the solution stays in the ear, when you pup shakes his head the solution comes out bringing the wax, just makes sure you dry the ears with a soft tissue after the bath, put the right amount in the ear canal and massage it. When i need to pluck the excess hair i use the ear powder which helps you get a better grip of the hair and you can use your own fingers to pull the hair.
Mojo's ears are cleaned after every bath and the hair are plucked as needed.
