That was so nice of you to start this thread to remind all of us of some of the things that we can do to help out shelters/rescues.
I volunteer @ my local Humane League on Saturdays. A couple of hours in the morning. I also donated 2 dog crates that my two outgrew to a local rescue. It makes me feel good to do this for the homeless animals.
