Laws initiated by them would indeed hurt the ethical breeder as much as the puppymiller because they do indeed want ALL breeding stopped. As I suggested in post 6 for those of you who find it hard to believe all the things you've hard about Peta, please watch the HBO documentary: I Am An Animal: The Story of Ingrid Newkirk and PETA . This was not done as a bash piece and does show some of their good work, but most importantly, it allows Ms. Newkirk to speak for herself about her goals. I think some of you need to hear for yourselves what she has to say. I realize many people believe that the end justifies the means, but we must remember her main goal is the elimination of all pets.

I've always said that PETA has done some great things as well, but I believe their intentions are really for the wrong reasons. They don't want to stop suffering of animals...in their own way they want to continue it. They want to eliminate our pets completely. I can't support an organization that wants to take my babies away from me
