oh--forgot to mention that when Edie's belly got darker, I was afraid it was Cushings disease. But the main symptom is drinking a lot of water. I carefully monitored what she drank every day (I measured in the a.m. and then measured what was left in the p.m.) and she really only drinks a couple of ounces a day. So that's not it. Both vets I took her to agreed with me.
The vets, by the way, said that her skin looked fine to them...they did not seem concerned that the color was not pink. |
