This is such a good thread. Great Misti1 that your going to get a rescue. I'm considering the same over here, going to the local animal shelter (they euthanize). But I may have to go to a Yorkie Rescue, or maltese. I don't care about what breed I adopt but it hit me that everyone in my house has allergies. And I'm not getting one to go outside. Now I understand having to pick a breed (I've often wondered why people get put on waiting lists, I know alot is preference) I'm rambling lol
