Ok I just downloaded all the forms to volunteer to be a foster Mom for our local humane society (no kill shelter). I have an orientation to attend April 19, then I should be good to go. Since my daughter is taking Mika to ATL I will have an empty nest and some willing arms to love a dog that may not get it otherwise. I have decided this is what I will do to "give back."
