I am sorry to hear that. My 11 year old pom was diagnosed last April with it. The treatment caused liver failure and the new specialist said we couldn't treat her Cushing's as the liver failure was more life threatening. Maya is doing ok wihtout any treatment right now. She still drinks alot, wants to eat all the time and needs to go out more but when she was on the meds she was so sick from the medicine. My advice would be to definitely find a specialist who has treated many Cushing's dogs and find the medicine that works best for your baby. Many Cushing's dogs respond well to the treatment and live many years. Your baby is really young so I would definitely seek out the best way to treat it. Good luck
