My Molly, who is only four years old, probably has Cushings. We are just waiting for the definitive diagnosis to be made, but she has all of the signs according to our vet. (She urinates large amounts of urine with a very low specific gravity, does not have a urinary tract infection, and is drinking a lot and eating a lot. No elevated glucose - yet, anyway.)

Does anyone have experience with treating this? I am aware of one drug used to shrink the tumor that causes Cushings, but then also read that dogs usually die a few years after diagnosis anyway, since it is usually diagnosed in older dogs. I hope that doesn't pertain to my four year old as well!
