Default Exercise on Jumping Prevention

ok for those of you who PMed me wanting to know the Jumping prevention exerc. here it is.
this training used the clicker method so those of you who arent familiar with this can use a word command.
remember only reward and acknowledge good behavior
ignore, step back and start over the exercise if your baby didnt get it the first time.
only say the command once and see what happens if your baby doesnt listen then stop for a few and say the command again.
the exercise becomes uneffective if you keep saying i.e..LEAVE IT .. LEAVE IT .. LEAVE IT over and over again until your baby gets it.
ok guys hope it works for you and let me know how your babies progress

Jump Prevention
Beginners Sit/Stay
Step 1) Say "sit" and click and then deliver a tiny treat the second your puppy
sits. Do this 10 times in a row.
Step 2) Say, "sit" and then wait until your pup has been sitting for 3 seconds
before clicking and then treating. Do this 10 times in a row.
Step 3) Say "sit" and then say "stay" as soon as your puppy sits. Click after
your puppy has sat for 3 seconds.
Practice step 3 for several minutes. You may have to do Steps 1 and 2 as a warm
up for Step 3 exercise for a few practice sessions.

one I learned yesterday to prevent from jumping on furinture is you practice Take It and Leave It.

you offer your baby a tiny treat saying TAKE IT
do this 2 times and on the third you put the treat infront of him/her and the moment he tries to reach for it you say LEAVE IT
once he stops trying to get at your hand and trying to eat the treat you say YES. and give him a treat.
you can practice then by placing a treat on the couch or chair.
do TAKE IT 2 times and on the third show your baby that you are placing the treat on the couch/sofa. once you see your baby go get the treat from couch/sofa you say leave it ... you may have to cover it with your hand. once your baby gets down you say YES and give him/her a treat.

practice is key and try to make it fun
GOOD LUCK
