I can't help you on the first question, but, we used to raise English Mastiffs and one of our mommies took her pups everywhere she could go, we finally realized all she was doing was moving them to somewhere else. I guess she wasn't comfortable with the place she had them. We let her move them all and she was fine and quit carrying them around.
