Lacy's hair grows very slow. Her coat is on the coarser side and coarser coats just tend to grow slow and break off easier. Silky coats usually grow well, and cottony coats seem to grow like a weed. And every dog is different so far as how fast their hair grows. I started giving Lacy Eicosaderm (a fish oil/vit. E supplement) and it has helped a lot.
