It happened a few years back as well and he was laid off for about 4 months. What was the worst that it was when the kids were off for the summer..so trying last minute to find a sitter for the kids that wouldn't cost us as much a what he would bring home...jeeze.

When it happened then I worked literally a double shift at work. Thankfully at the time god provided and things were super busy so I was able to carry us without a hitch. I was drained but I did it.

The problem with him collecting unemployment is that he is self-employed so he can't collect.

I am so frustrated and sick to my stomach.
