 Can anyone help with ringing bell to go out?
My puppy is nearly 6months..I am wondering if any great feedbacks or idea to have my dog ring the bell..what I did is put the bell obviously around the door handle..so what I am doign now is everytime we are going to outside I put him on his feet and have his paws touch the bell slightly and then take him out..I am doing this repeatly hoping one day he will understand to ring it himself to go out..now the bell is low for him to ring it but he never does so I am curious whats the best way? when do you give him a treat i take it when he rings it himself? should I just ring the bell myself then take him out or is this good idea for him to use his paws to nudge it a little then take him out all everytime he does that? please help |
