I did learn a BIG lesson from the scamming situation. It taught me that patience is a virtue. I'm not too fast to rush out and get a puppy..especially online.
Those people played on my wants, hopes and desires. I'm usually the one that says..."I wouldn't have fell for that", but in that case, I did.
It still makes my soul shutter to think of just how much money I shelled out to Western Union and never received my dogs. Then on top of that, the man emailed us from what looked like a church web-site address. He posed as a pastor and ripped us off. In the end, I was so hurt and really embarrassed. I cried for days and this made my husband furious. You live and you learn.
But to end on a good note, the experience has taught me and I've learned twice as much since then.
