I have read this entire thread over and over again and I can't find where anyone bashed you or was rude to you because of how you feel about puppy mills. No one said you shouldn't feel the way you do but knowing when to agree to disagree without being childish is very important. Just because we may not always agree on the same issues doesn't make any of us bad people and it certainly should not come in the way of anyone enjoying this site. |
Rocco1. I said I wasn't posting anymore on this thread but as a rescue mom and no puppymill supporter I really cannot help but answer your post. You posted "Just because we may not always agree on the same issues doesn't make any of us bad people" I'm sorry to disagree with you but if you support a mill by purchasing over and over from a pet store knowing where these pups come from and knowing how the parents live then yes it does make you a bad person. You said everyone has a right to their oppinions well that's my oppinion. As far as being childish goes. I don't think sticking up for the rights of animals is being childish. Thinking you are "Saving" pups when they are in pet stores in my "Oppinion" is being childish. It's living in a fantasy world. Enjoying this site. Yes, it should be enjoyable. You're right. Now I've said my peace and I am done and I will not lower myself to continue to argue with those that choose to hide their heads in the sand. And by the way true animals lovers would feel the same way I do and others do. They think of the parents forced to live in hell to produce these pups and if using the excuse that you are saving them is your way of justifying it well then you have to live with youselves. Elaine
