I was one of those who posted early on in this thread and I apologize to YT if I was out of line but I do not apologize for standing up to someone who just blantantly jumped on someone, a brand new poster at that, who asked a simple innocent question. I am relatively new to this site and I have seen some very surprising remarks and comments-both positive and not. I am glad that we are here for a common goal...education. That is what I hope to get out of this site. I think that we all have the same goal in mind...closing down puppy mills...how we get there is the issue. I agree that there is no one right way but we certainly cannot achieve anything if we don't work together.

I read another thread talking about the possible story that Oprah may be presenting today on her show about puppy mills and breeders. I would hope that with the hamburger lawsuit she went through she will present this story fairly.

Let's try and work together for what we all believe in (I hope) closing down the puppy mills. As I see it, the harsh reality is is that pet stores will never go out of business...they will go to mills or they will go to byb. With that being said, I think that we need to make aware the conditions of the mills to the public and then expose the stores that buy from them. If the public doesn't know where the animals come from, they will continue to buy. We, the animal loving community, need to stand together and not divided for this common goal

Again, I apologize to YT for handling myself in any manner that was not proper for the good of the site.
