Great point if you can't turn your airbag off
When I use the side straps she has to stay right in the seat (she doesn't have them attached yet in the picture). No leaning out or crawling up the console etc. But my airbag is turned off. I think picking a carseat has as much to do with your vehicle these days with airbags etc. With the ones with the sides Sadie feels like she needs to stand up and look over so she can see me
. I would suggest trying some with your puppy to see what he likes. Once you know it is safe in your car then try some out to see which he likes better
