Parker's gets car sickness when he rides in the backseat. His car seat sits up high and has a suitcase at the bottom. My vet suggested putting his seat in the front passenger side to see if that would help for his carsickness. I now have his car seat in the front , which has really helped with his car sickness. I do keep the passenger side air bag off.
I just ordered the console seat for a SUV for my Tahoe, but I will still turn off the air bag on the passenger side.
