Please, please listen to what the others have said. I have posted about this before. I lost my little Tigger, because he was snatched by a hawk from his very secluded dog run. He had access to it from a doggie door and ONLY went outside very briefly, each time to go potty and then would come right back in...(Yes, Yorkies are
never outdoor dogs). In those few moments he was taken from us..... that's all it took.
I have since had a cover built over the dog run.
One last thing. How hot exactly does it get in your area??? Can you imagine being banished outside all day long yourself, in the heat of the midday sun in the middle of summer?????
I just have no words to describe how this breaks my heart.
