Well I am back from my appointment, and as I suspected I now have 1 daily prescription and also a pre-migraine med. I'm having a CT scan done next Wednesday just to be sure everything is okay. So about these prescriptions...I am now supposed to be taking Amitriptyline and Zomig. The Amitriptyline bothers me because it is generally used as an anti-depressant. Should I be worried? Has anyone used this for treatment of migraines? Zomig doesn't bother me since it made specifically to treat migraines, but I still dislike the thought of taking a lot of meds. Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated!
