I have console car seat. Maxi gets too anxious if he is in lookout carseat. When I have him in his console car seat he is more relaxed because he is closer to me. I heard somewhere that if you have airbags on both sides of your car it is safer if you use console one because it is in between the car seats. Or you can use other carseats for backseats of your car but I cant beacause Maxi will go bananas
My console seat I got for 50 bucks and I thought Maxi wont fit in it because he is 7 pounds. On the site it said pets up to 4 pounds but when I got it and installed it Maxi fits. He can lay down or sit. It has straps that go throu seats and close at the back and also has a strap to put around your console.
