Has anyone owned a Yorkie for years and not had any major health issues?
Is expecting to find a healthy Yorkie unrealistic? So far it seems as if I am looking for a needle in a haystack.
Climbing down from my soap box..... | I am new to YT, I will post an introduction here in a few, but I wanted to comment on your post. While I would not buy from a breeder who was not willing discuss the health of past puppies, it is possible to have a very healthy yorkie.
Our little Babe died, at 15, in October. In 15 years he never had one health problem. The only time we had to take him to the vet was for his check ups. So it *is possible to find a healthy baby. But I would wait until you find a breeder that you are totally comfortable with!
