i know i probably sound ignorant or like a bad mommy... but it's hard to groom him everyday, especially with the tangles he gets. i've used conditioners/detanglers, but i can't seem to stop the knots from forming! and i know it hurts him when i brush him because i can feel the knots being pulled even with the right products mixed in.
any help?? |
First of all, how old is Kash?
Puppy coat is a lot different than adult coats. They can change in texture/color up to 2 years of age...and some even up to 3 years of age.
What I've found in my dogs is that their adult coat is pretty much in by age 1...just coloring changes some.
Now if your dog is a cotton coat, then you'll always have to deal with the tangles and mats. Cotton coated dogs are more difficult to manage and you have to spend more time on them.
