If it's that bad, I would shave and start over.
When Baxter was a puppy, his hair would get matted-not very bad, but I took him to get his hair cut and wanted it short. After it grew back out, it was so easy and it doesn't get matted anymore.
Puppy hair seems to be much more difficult than adult hair. Baxter's hair is SO EASY. Chloe is having the same problems. She had a few mats, but it wasn't as bad as you mentioned, so I was able to get them out working on them for quite awhile. |
