Of course it's all about dominance as we know.
Buddy will do it still from time to time. I know the signs and try and
prevent it before it occurs. Just last week I went to touch his food bowl
and he growled at me which he has not done in ages. Within a second he
realized what he did and was all over me kissing me and begging for forgiveness. I make him sit and look at me before releasing him to eat. He still tries to be boss from time to time. This can be a dangerous thing if not corrected. I have been working on it since he was a puppy. I have always said that some of these Yorkies are certainly a challange. Bud's one of them.
Being smart and loving and verbal at times he never gives up trying to be
alpha.
Take control Gina. Lexi is a cutie but don't let her use it against you.
Show her who's boss. They truly know when we don't mean it too.
