My hair dresser mixes colors so you don't get that flat dull look... She adds a bit of red to warm it up!

I agree definitely go to a professional especially for drastic color changes. I cannot tell you the times in High School when I let my sister test out hair color or let my mom do at home highlights that I ended up at the beauty salon getting corrective color done. Sometimes it would cost me $150 dollars to get it fixed.
