I remember watching Judge Judy one day and a lady took a yorkie breeder to court. The yorkie turned out to be like 20 lbs and even though it had yorkie coloring it had ears like a basset and curly hair. It was also CKC and the lady won her case against the breeder. There was no contract signed. It's something to consider. I would speak to a lawyer, though.
