In every other country except for Canada, I believe it is illegal to dock tails and to crop ears. When it the USA going to ban this outdated procedure?
There used to be a need for it when yorkies were bred specifically for hunting, not there is no need besides vanity.

I hope the US never bans tail-docking....I think there will be a big fight against it if someone tries it. It's one thing to leave the tail long if you personally prefer it but I don't want my rights to have a docked tail taken away. A docked tail is part of the breed's history and I hope that never gets taken away
