Hi when I got Milo he tested positive, the Vet gave us medicine, we came back he still had it, he gave us another medicine, he still had it, Then he gave us a Very strong antibiotic, I am sorry I do not remember what it was but it was ground up in powder form and I had to hide it in very smelly food otherwise I could not get him to touch it, anyway the Vet told me that some dogs just test false positive, and if this last antibiotic did not work, and since he was showing no signs we were just going to watch him. The antibiotic did work, so we had no worries. I love my Vet however I think if he tested positive again I would have went for a second opinion some where. |
