Laughing because I had a foster female Peke (alpha) for two weeks following bladder stone surgery. Poor Charlie was beside himself; constantly protecting his three beds. Finally at the end of two weeks, he gave her a lick on her face and wanted to play. However, she went to another foster home and he seemed lonesome, but quickly recovered. He never growled at her but she led the way when we walked, old Charlie tagging behind.
She is really cute and remember she is only 6 mos. Rachael (Peke) was 3, Charlie is 11 and the energy level was quite different. |
