Human conditioner is not that much different than dog conditioner in ph, so if you want to use a human conditioner, it will probably do no harm. However, human shampoo is very different in ph on the acid/alkaline scale, and can potentially harm your puppy's skin. Little white flakes are usually caused by not rinsing enough and of course this can happen with any shampoo you use. Most dog shampoos recommend diluting with water before you place on the dog. Skin problems can occur literally overnight, and can be a nightmare to cure.
