| Funny you should say that. . . .
I just went and purchased a 12 week old girl. The folks that were selling her had the Mom and Dad there on the premises, but they are not breeders. I was a little concerned because the area where the dogs are kept (there were 3 puppies in the litter) was not very well kept, although it was clean I suppose. I hate to sound over the top, but I kinda felt like I was reviewing a day care setting the way I would for my children when they were little. Mom and Dad are about 10-12 pounds. Supposedly, Mom is a pure Breed, and Dad is also but has no papers. They said they cut the puppy's hair and that it will grow in. I just hope they aren't trying to pull a fast one and sell me a mix. I paid $350. They said they wanted to "regain their backyard" and sell the puppies quickly, thus the low price. She seems very sweet. Keep your fingers crossed. I'll bring her home on Thursday since I just was not set up yet for a puppy and have to buy a few things. |
