If the pup poops in the house, take the poop with a tissue, take dog and poop outside, put the poop on the grass, point to the pup and say, poopie outside. When training my 2 as we walked to the back door I would say, outside and add the word, poopie outside, or pipi outside. Give treats when he goes on pad or outside - make a big hoorah party out of it. It will eventually click in their little heads. I use bells but I like the other bell the yter mentioned.
