Ohhh...Noebella, its not stupid at all. Trust me, I cried the night before, cried that morning and cried on the phone with my boyfriend as I dropped her off. Its perfectly normal to worry, she is very lucky to have a mom like you who cares so much! It is a normal procedure and just be confident in your vet, trust that they will do a good job and CoCo will be ok. Take solace in the fact that vets have to go through Medical School to get to be where they are! Just know in your heart that you are doing the right thing for her in the long run, to keep her healthy and around longer. I'm sure they wouldnt operate on her unless they know that its safe. When I approached my vet about spaying Bella, she was only 2 lbs. They said to wait a bit longer so that she'd be at least 3 lbs. Thats what they felt comfortable with doing, every vet is different.
