Well lifting their leg and marking can be two different things. I had a male that didn't left his leg...but marked....not in my house, but tinkling a little everywhere outside. That's marking without lifting their leg.
Reese is 18 months old. He does not mark and has just started lifting his leg to pee. He still usually squats to go...he says it's hard to balance on just three legs.
