Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers
I am so sorry, I was hoping there would be more progress. I should tell you, many, many years ago, I had a Maltese, Tasha, who was attacked by 2 German Shepherds (also not leashed). She had a long and complicated surgery to repair the multiple wounds. Although it took a really long time, she did recover and lived a full life to the grand old age of 16 years (9 years beyond this incident). There is hope. These little ones are amazingly resilient. Just don't give up.
Hugs to you both,
Lauren

P.S. Remember, it is not just the physical trauma she is getting over, but the horrific emotional one as well. She needs tons of love and reassurance besides the obvious medial care. Visit her as often as possible. That is what my parents and I did at the time with Tasha. The vet said this helped almost more than anything.
