Well what are you doing when he goes in that one spot? Are you reprimading him? Or do you just clean it up and not say anything? Also can you put something in that spot like a potted plant to cover it up? I found when I reprimanded coco for not going on the pad she then went on the pad and when she did she got a treat. She really did not want to disappoint me and she wanted that treat badly. It got to the point she would go to the pad and sit down and then run to me for a treat. lol....Thats when she hadn't figured out she only got one when she went potty.

I read a lot of things that said just to clap and not get angry or yell when the dog missed the pad and don't get angry when they poop becaue all it teaches them is not to poop in front of you. But I tried all that and she had a mind of her own and did what she wanted. Its when I got tough what my husband calls "cocos boot camp days". lol that is when she attempted to go where she was supposed and it took her 3 days and she has not had an accident since. We also got new carpet and I was tired of walking around like I was in a mine field never knowing what was going to be on my carpet so I got tough it may be against everything every training book tells you but it worked like a charm. I also bought the holders for the pads because she was tearing them up but she doesn't anymore with the holders.
