From what I understand, you do need to use it with caution. I have never used it but I have just read that it can cause heart arrythmia. No, the dose is not the same for a Yorkie as a Great Dane, from what I understand.
Calcium works on muscle and the heart is a muscle that is very influenced by calcium.
Since there does seem to be some issues with it, I would do a ton of research on it before I used it. |
