I had a similar situation only our pup was a few ounces lighter. He is 11 months and 3.3 lbs n ow. Anyway, I give him a tad less at each meal and then give him a snack during the day to keep his blood sugar up. But , since he was eating it all, I did increase his intake over all. Also if you are feeding food with filler by any chance, he will need to eat much more and poop much more as it is not absorbed as nutrician. I hope this helps.
