this might be evil and coniving, but i would call her and be super sweet and enquire about whether or not your dog could possibly be mix. tell her you love me and are gonna keep him, but was just curious someone had asked you. Then tape the conversation. Then you have her voice saying it could be a mix. Might not work, but might be worth a try.
