My groomer always takes all the hair off the weenie....I think she must shave it. And In between, I clip it to keep it as short as I can. I can tell a big difference with new male who hasn't had his shaved and the hair is longer...if you don't wipe them right afterward, the urine can dry on the hair and they smell. So I did try clipping as much as I could off of him too....you just have to be really careful.
