Default 2 male yorkies = problems?

Hi,

Hubby and I have definitely decided another yorkie will be joining our household. I miss having 2 dogs and besides that, SoCo clearly needs a playmate, based on his barking at himself in mirrors, running to our shed everytime he goes out (we think he's seeing his reflection and thinking another dog lives in said shed) and wanting to play with us ALL THE TIME.

So we had been thinking a girl as that's what we had before, 1 of each, but a) girls are SO expensive b) everything I've read about the girls says they aren't quite as playful (which would defeat the purpose of getting SoCo a playmate) and so independant and less cuddly. I lived the last part with our female sharpei and frankly I don't miss her "leave me alone" attitude that she got a lot of the time. (Don't get me wrong, I'd give my right arm to have her back, but still...)

So, does anyone have at least 2 males and a peaceful (as much as possible with yorkies, of course ) home? We were worried about 2 of the same sex leading to a lot of fighting, but if enough of you say I have nothing to worry about, I think hubby can be convinced

Thank you all!

Tara
