I use Natures Variety Raw Frozen Medallions - mostly lamb - I also like to use venison, rabbit. I think it's such a superior diet. You can tell ALOT about the quality of a diet by what comes out the other end (poop inspection is a big topic 'round here, oh MY).
Anypoo, their poos no longer really have a smell, they become realllly teensy (the food is
used rather than just pooed out as filler), and they become very "powdery" - so that oftentimes, the poo just distintegrates back into the soil. And, importantly, rather than poos being soft and voluminous (often the case w/ kibble/canned food) - the poos are firm/hard - and they will empty the anal glands, as necessary as intended, while the dog is eliminating - thus avoiding alot of other problems.
