Hi, I recommend "NOT" going off the charts and instead look at the size of the parents. If you have information about the grandparents and other past generations this will help even more. Some babies grow fast but can also stop fast. Some grow slow, so you just never truly know. My Trixie wasn't an extremely tiny baby and some might have thought she was going to be on the bigger side. She grew really fast but then stopped at 6 months old. I guess I should say she stopped growing in length and height at 6 months but did gain a little more weight. She's now 4-4 1/2 lbs. and both her parents were about this weight and so were the grandparents.

However, sometimes you just never know. My one other girl Pia is only 2 lbs. and both her parents were over 5 lbs. When it comes down to it, time will only tell.
