I love wine. My FIL (now deceased) was a well-known winemaker in the Napa Valley. Beringer named a wine after him
. I grew up in the Napa Valley and am unfortunately totally SPOILED when it comes to wine (although, I don't think Napa is the ONLY place that makes stellar wines!).
So, a few of my FAVORITE wines are:
Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay
Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet
Turley (anything...it's all excellent ..and he used to be an ER Dr; I worked with him in Santa Rosa)
Truchard (most of their stuff is good too...and he used to be a GP dr; I worked with him in Reno! Weird how small the world becomes!)
One of my VERY favorite white wines is Trimbach Alsace Riesling...it's so fresh tasting....wonderful for a hot summer afternoon! And you can usually find it at Trader Joe's!
And for champagne~ my affordable favorite special champagne is Schramsberg~ all of them, LOL. The Blanc de Noir is probably close to my favorite though.
