My vet gives my girls less than 1/2 dose. The "standard" vaccine is designed for a 25 lb dog (according to my vet). It stands to reason that a 4 lb dog would not need nearly what a 25 lb dog would to be protected. Plus, with all the new information coming out, I'm more and more hesitate to vaccinate at all!!
