High levels of energy are very common, especially at that age. I have 1 that is almost 6 months and she still has loads of energy. Lots & lots of different kinds of toys will definitely help. I have several, on all levels of my house but it keeps her entertained during the times I (or the other dogs), cannot play with her. And of course, several walks a day ( or taking her out to play ball or fetch if you have nice yard space) will also help her exude some of that energy. It will soon diminish as she gets older.
